A few years ago, I was mid-build on my 1984 BMW E30 and hit the same wall every builder hits: the parts I needed didn't exist.
That's when I decided to design my own custom 3D printed car parts.
But every resource I came across was an overly complicated 30 day CAD tutorial about printing household products or toys — not automotive parts.
So I built a repeatable Design-to-Print™ system I wish I had when I first started.

"Each tutorial has taught me something new. Without the workshop I would still be lost..." - Chad
This isn't another 30 day CAD course, no 72-button toolbar, or complex system.
The workshop is fully online and on-demand with a little over 3 hours of video training you can take at your own pace.
You'll design fully functional 3D printable car parts that work for any vehicle using a simplified design software process.

Step 2: Reverse Engineer Like a Pro
If you find a printable car part online and want to modify it, without knowing design you're stuck.
The reverse engineering module covers how to remake and modify pre-made printable car part files (aka STL) to fit your exact build.

3D Printing material options are endless. Picking the wrong one will leave you with a part melting on your dash.
The workshop also includes how to print with UV, heat, and weather resistant materials that can withstand automotive environments; from exterior, interior, to even under-the-hood of your car.

A finished design isn't a part you just install.

You'll learn to properly export and print your own designs with the correct settings or send them to a print-on-demand service, even if you don't own a 3D printer yet.
This workshop finally made designing 3d printed car parts feel doable. I had a custom part ready for my project car in just a few hours.
Go through the workshop. Build a part. Print it. Install it.

If you can't get your idea to a functional 3d printed car part with the same process — email me and I'll personally assist you with your design.
If you feel like the workshop still isn't the right fit, I'll refund you every single penny.

This PDF blueprint will help you learn how to sell your parts to other builders who'd rather pay for a custom part.

Yes, filaments like ASA are UV and water resistant — which is what we use for interior and exterior parts. The workshop covers exactly which material to use for each location on your car, and the print settings that make the difference between a part that holds and one that won't.
Yes, the parts we cover are applicable to any car.
You don't need any previous CAD experience. I teach with real automotive car part examples and concepts you can follow with a step-by-step process with a simplified workflow.
If you have a 3d printer, you’re one step ahead.
If you don't have one yet, the 3d printing module also covers which 3d printers you can buy that work best for printing automotive grade parts. You can also send your designs to print-on-demand service too.
If you have a computer or laptop running Windows or MAC you’re already 99% there.
We teach the workshop using Shapr3D which is supported on Windows, MAC and a iPad with an Apple Pencil. You'll also need something to measure with, like a ruler or caliper measuring tool.
Yes. Shapr3D's 14-day Pro trial covers everything in the workshop, including the high-resolution exports you need for a print-ready part.
After the trial expires, you can complete the design portion of the workshop in the free version. Paid versions are less than $35 a month for high-resolution, print-ready exports.
The workshop also includes a 10% off discount code to Shapr3D.
Yes. The CAD concepts taught in the workshop are transferable to other programs like Fusion 360, FreeCAD, Onshape, and SolidWorks.
